Shipping Methods
We generally ship via USPS Priority Mail. Via Priority mail, your order should take 4-7 days to reach you. We've found Priority Mail is the most affordable and reliable method of shipping. If you order an extremely large or heavy item or lots of items that weigh a whole bunch, we may opt to use UPS ground to save on costs. We will try to get you the lowest shipping costs. If after packing your items up and we find a large discrepancy, we will offer you a refund at our discretion.

Damaged Items
If your item is damaged in transit, you have 5 business days from the day you received the package to let us know that something is broken. Please keep all of the packing materials. We will give you instructions on how to send the item back. Please do not send any items back without prior authorization, these items will not be accepted. To report a damaged item and to get instructions on what to do, please email damages@violetcottage.com.
Returns
Returned items are only allowed within 14 days from the day you received the item. Please contact us to let us know you are returning the item in question. The item being sent back must be in excellent condition. Your store credit will be on the merchandise value only, and will not include the shipping costs.
