A heart made out of roses with a banner that says "Roses are Red". The inspiration for this piece started back in 2005 when we put a huge version of the glittered rose heart in the window of our shop "Violets are Blue". The original piece is hand painted using acrylic paint and gouache.

This art board is something special... we hand press the copy of the art onto wood then each rose and leaf were meticulously cut out using a jig saw. Then, it was hand glittered using shards of magenta glass and finished off with fine pink, dark green, light green and clear glass glitter. The board is hanging from 3 ribbons in shades of pink and green.

The board is 1/8" thick, 10" tall without the ribbon and 15" tall with the ribbon and 12 1/2" wide. Due to the handmade nature of this item, yours may look a little different than what is pictured :)

Please use caution when handling as the glass glitter can be sharp!
