Take me to your cheese toast…
I was sitting at the coffee table enjoying some fabulous cheese toast (the Clearman’s/Northwoods Inn Recipe, although the recipe I found earlier included lemon juice) and who pops her head up to get some? Miss Meg:

She’s almost 3, and it huge now, but once upon a time…

Happy to report, I got the chairs! They need more love than I thought… but I happened to go back on a day when the “pink tags” were on sale… so it may have been worth it in the end :) And I found a lovely compote, so I’m thrilled.
Tore the shop apart today! There are bags, cardboard and purses sprinkled everywhere. I think it is coming together and the aprons from Sommer Designs have been added in nicely! Just in time for Mother’s Day! I guess I should put up the 4th of July now and just be done with it! I got some AWESOME stuff from Bethany Lowe Designs!!! I have 8 ladies on the bethany lowe call list. I am instructed to call immediately after Brian (our UPS guy) walks in the door… if you want to be added… hurry up! hehe! (and I call alphabetically, so make up a last name that starts with an “A”) ;)
I also got a ton of jewelry the other day so I have about 80 pairs of chandelier earrings to price… argh. Seems shell chandelier earrings are back this season… but with more rhinestones. Nathan ran out to get a movie for entertainment! yay! OH! and Cathi made some HUGE cupcake beads that I need to add little lobster claw clasps to. I think they’ll be good for hanging off purses, hoodies etc and so on. I’ll put pics up of those soon, too! Wow, I’m all over the place tonight! Must be the cheese toast ;)

I may want another puppy soon… why can’t they come house-trained with little to no desire to chew up my expensive under-things and photo albums?
over and out! :)

[...] Before I moved out of my Mom’s house, we shared two lovely dogs. Barkley was supposed to be my dog. But, before long he was sleeping with my Mom and I was lonely. So I got myself a little white dog and named him Biscuit. When it was time for me to move out I was going to take Biscuit, but… alas, the three of them had created a bond that I wasn’t about to break up. But now I have Miss Nutmeg and all is well in the world of furry friends! [...]

I love all your pups!! Miss Nutmeg is beautiful…but Oooh, that biscuit..I have a weakness for little dogs that are unsmart. Now, BIG dogs that are unsmart drive the heck out of me. :)
My dog, Lily, had a medical emergency as a pup which caused a high fever (we almost lost her). When this happens to puppies who are in the midst of developing their permanent teeth, it’s baaaad. Her permanent teeth are without enamel…are very weak and today when she went in to be spayed, they found that there were 5 that had to be removed because they’d broken. I knew she had lost all the top front tiny teeth but had no idea she was dealing with the broken ones, bless her heart. I’m going to visit the site you linked to as I know I’m going to be responsible for her dental health from now on.

[...] I’m thinking a line of hawaii-ana stuff… I named this guy Surf Pooch… hmmm… idea, perhaps we can teach Meg to surf? That would probably require learning how to surf ourselves first so… that would be a firm “no”. [...]
