Finally back on ebay!
After a long hiatus from the world of ebay, I finally decided to list Ms. Milligan’s fancy glass cupcakes and some bath salts to see how they would sell. I put our ebay store, “violet cottage”, back up and hoped for the best! So far so good. The necklaces have been well received and I’m keeping Cathi quite busy with her bead making. I think this is my favorite bead by far:
So, that one will go on the website and will get matching earrings! Now I have to pick out at least 3 more. Any suggestions? :)I soon hope to add a “day with Cathi Milligan”… with pictures and video of her making beads. She’s been on the DIY network making doggie collar beads and recycled beads, but I would love to show her making a fantabulous cupcake!My paintings are staring me in the face. I tend to get 75% done with a piece and then let it stare at me for over a month. In college I did a self portrait and agonized over my left eye. The entire piece looked pretty good until I added that left eye. It made the drawing look disfigured and lopsided. So, the fear of the “left eye” is keeping me from finishing. I must paint on! :) I’ll scan those in later and show the progression… that way if draft 2 is better than draft 6, I can just go back and use it. Any input is always appreciated! This art is going to be made into hanging boards with vintage glass glitter, rhinestones and hand-dyed silk ribbons. Each one is unique! And I know that Alicia will be more than happy to help with the glittering!Off to go paint!
